Students are required to send their student identification to the conference secretariat to benefit from the student fee. - The local participants include Proceedings, tutorial registration, keynotes, and the coffee-breaks.

Registration policies
General Policies
Each accepted NTMS 2008 conference paper must have at least one FULL registration of a DELEGATE (student, IEEE member or non-member,) attached to it. In case of multiple accepted papers, one full registration must be attached to each paper. A single exception is when up to two papers are authored by the same single author, in which case one registration covers both papers.
Authors please note that full registration must be done prior to the submission of a camera ready copy. It is expected that the registration is done in the name of the author who will present the paper at NTMS'08. The organisers need 3-5 working days to handle credit card charges and minimum 10 working days to receive bank transfers.
All accepted papers are expected to have a presenter attending the conference. If no written cancellation (e-mail, telefax or letter) is received for a full registration for the paper by 25 October and no rearrangements for substitution have been done to have someone else present the paper at the event, the paper in question will not be included in the IEEE Xplore.
Member and Student Discounts
To qualify for the discounted IEEE and IFIP member rates as per above policies, you must be a member of IEEE or the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) or the IFIP and include your membership number in your registration.
To qualify for the student rate you must be a student member of the aforementioned associations. Students must also present their ID onsite. Non-members can save immediately by applying online for IEEE or the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) membership or the IFIP.
Registration Payment
NTMS'08 registration shall be paid by credit card. Credit card payment can be made with VISA, MasterCard, Eurocard or American Express. Please note that organisers need 3-5 working days to handle credit card charges. You will receive a confirmation after your credit card payment has been accepted.
Registration Confirmation
Upon receipt of the registration form and payment, a confirmation will be sent to the delegate by e-mail. For paper authors, the access code for uploading the camera ready copy of an accepted paper will be given once the full registration for the paper has been confirmed.
